New Product Alert: RFE K-Band Down-Converter
RFE has introduced a new SatCom broadband K-Band Down-Converter module. The down-converter will address RF communications on military and commercial bands.
This product and its related upconverter product both feature:
- Clear signal conversion & transmission
- Integrated LO synthesizers which can be tuned to convert L band to anywhere in the RF band
- Includes jitter reduction for the 10MHz REF.
- Low power requirements: Consumes just 12W from a single 28VDC.
- Ultra-precise tuning: Full 17.7-21.2GHz down to 1-2GHz upright conversion. Tunable across the full band with 10MHz resolution.
The module is housed in a compact, hermetically-sealed package measuring just 3″ x 8″ x 1″.
The K-Band Down-Converter can be deployed in ground or airborne environments, paired with its sister product, RFE’s Ka-Band Up-Converter. They are suitable for military, aerospace, and high-altitude commercial applications.
