New Product Alert: RFE Ka-Band Up-Converter

RFE has introduced a new SatCom broadband Ka-Band Up-Converter module. The up-converter will address RF communications on commercial and military bands.

These new modules are designed to operate inside military aircraft, making them one of the strongest, most reliable frequency converters out there.

This product and its related down-converter product both feature:

• Low power requirements: The product consumes just 12W from a single 28VDC.
• Strong signal integrity
• Integrated LO synthesizers, which can tune to convert the L band to anywhere in the RF band
• Included jitter reduction for the 10MHz REF
• Ultra-precise tuning: 1-2GHz to Full 27.5-31GHz upright up conversion. Tunable across the full band with 10MHz resolution.

The module is housed in a compact, hermetically-sealed 3″ x 8″ x 1″ package.

The Ka-Band Up-Converter can be deployed in rugged ground or air environments. These include commercial products such as radar systems, aerospace, and military communications systems.
